My theatrical experience began while in High School. Taking parts in some of the productions that were produced as part of the school’s Arts programme. My first performance was at Tsoho Community Theatre Festival held by PACOFS with the play called The Secret which was also performed at the Market Theatre during the Zwakala Festival. I took up an acting role in a local movie called An Eye for an Eye directed by Goimetsang Pholo. As I started gaining momentum I performed at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown with productions called Exodus (Dance production) choreographed and directed by Mark Dobson Anthony and Eagles (Dance production) choreographed and directed by Warren Wilskuit. Both these shows were produced by Mangaung Drama and Dance Academy known as (MDG Performing Arts Academy). I performed alongside The Soil in Extravaganza which was organised by University of the Free State (UOFS) choreographed by Sizakele MDI. I found a new passion in teaching performing arts at Nursary Schools as well as performing Creche Puppetry.
In 2016 I joined Vuyani Dance Theatre and was casted in Joys Of Sharing directed by Gregory Maqoma. I was also casted in PAGE 27’ created and choreographed by Lulu Mlangeni. I later became a Junior Dancer and was casted in Gregory Maqoma’s Cion: Requiem of Ravel’s Bolero and Rise which have toured in Europe and the USA.
